Dee and I managed to grab a short catch up over dinner last night at 313. He had some pocketful of time before his dinner and I was going to head home to the dog anyway...

Dee,"are u interested in watches????"
Me, *still lemming over that C classic* "No leh...prefer a bag...."
Dee,"I talking about buying a watch for myself LAH!!"
Me,"..."

And since the Miyashitas commented that the pictures of N I post on this blog are sooo handsome... let me startle you otherwise! Meet my MR GOOFY!!!

we were goofing around with the cute little carrot on our plate :p

and then....little did he know that he had this black dot of food remains above his lips!

I started snapping pictures of him....and he obviously thought I was sooooo totally mesmerised by him, he started posing for me :p :p

So when I finally showed him what I was shooting at, we both died laughing!

Love crowded friday gatherings that color up N and my rather boring dating life :) Love of friends :) :) Mutual ones :) :) I find it healthy when couples share their lives together instead of keeping each other out of their personal social lives. And keeping their friends to themselves. There is a need to equilibrate ur couplehood life, your social life and your personal space sometimes. NEED.

THE BINGE AND GATHER
Of a Heng Hua dialect, we eat this every Chu1 morning :) the traditional heng hua mee sua is YUMS!! The maternal side of the family looks forward to this mee sua feast every Chu1 and comes over for breakfast every year! :)

We hosted and were hosted on Chu7. Friends are LOVES. So are FOOD :)

Finger food, lenton brae and homemade carbonara :)

Men in kitchen is handsome sight :) But he made his friends learn to make their own carbonara :p the trick to woo girls. Unfair! I was soooo shortchanged! :(

Continuing CNY with bright colors :)

I ve always been the rather black person in office. Black is the usually default choice unless I feel colourful in the morning. Or unless I feel slim that day, which is quite rare :p

But for the CNY, I decided to be a goodie girl and dress up in bright and cheerful colors! that, even the collics notice :)


Day 1 of work - HOT pink butterfly wing top and white pants!
Day 2 of work - Victoria Beckham inspired millitary dress in cream! With gold buttons to go with! Love this dress cos it is kind of a self creation :)

And Murphy was also rainbowed to fit the colorful mood for this CNY :) :)

And it was also Valentines Day....

Sometimes when we live in bliss, we take most things for granted and forget how to count our blessings.

I know I do not advocate giving on special days.. but I was in need of some TLC over the long weekend and was just grumbling to N on our ride to somewhere how I did not get any Vday mushy thoughts, sweetie presents and romantic meal this year...

me, "you never give me any present this year!!!"

N, "No?! how about the Iphone? and at least 24 months of subscriptions and including those months that u are gg to exceed your usage??"

me, "oh ya hor...." *Iphone was bought in late Jan*
me, "but when u gave me the iphone u didnt mention it was a Vday gift!"

N, "....."

Where else but at our verrrrrry own tourist attraction! The Singapore Zoo!

Just how often do u get to go to your own country's tourist attractions? almost never! so this run served a good purpose for Dee and I. A trip to the animals kingdom :)

Man. I wasnt surprised that the top 10 runners I saw coming in were ALL ang mohs! cos the Singaporeans were all busy animal watching! like us! :)

Dee & I taking a BREATHER by the side benches farrr farrr away while the crowd squeezed through the starting line. We had to breathe! and I kept asking him, "how s the air up there? I CANNOT breathe!!!"

And we made a new little fren who ran 10km tt day!! (his competitive 3.2km + followed N & I on our adult 6.2km!!!) little ppl have great energy burst!

Weddings. Behind all that glitz and glamour is a chunky load of preparationsss and more preparationsss. So much so that N & I literally invited ourselves to the wedding dinner. sans invitation card. :)

I bet the card's still sitting somewhere in their glove compartment.. ;p

We heard of another resignee for the coming tuesday. That pretty much leaves the groom the only cave mate to fight the cold war.. I think the reality finally sinked in when he went back to work on Wednesday...

I received this yesterday morning :) :)

Talk about the friendships that u build under hardy circumstances. In the men's terms, like ORD lah? Yes. Physically and emotionally tiring but the process is somewhat enjoyable. And nothing else can beat that brudderhood bond u build.

So, we sent in a bouquet from a couple of buildings away :) it's kind of like a tradition tt u get paged to go to the receptionist on your last day :) makes u feel soooo loved! I resisted the urge to self collect, take a peek at it and pass it to her during lunch. Has to be a delivery! :)

And so... most of the caver's down and soaring somewhere with greener pastures and rounder moon. and getting used to a life balance :) i see more dinners and catching up already! :)

No TGIF post for tomorrow since it ll be a packed day running errands all over singapore! someone forgot he has a meeting to attend, so I will be all alone. But he has kindly volunteered to take the public transport so I can get the car :) :)
