10 reasons

I am trying to convince myself n every auditor out there, esp after ONE more of my honeybunches announced her resignation

1. only 3 more months till the end of peak, numerous toil n one overseas trip
2. only 5 more months to bonus month
3. i get to claim cab fares
4. i get S$10 meal allowance a day
5. i stil haven claimed my S$100 dental
6. i have 14 days of MC unclaimed
7. i have (number of days since Jan 2007 to date, n all the way till april) * (at least 2 hrs of toil everyday)
8. i din claim medical from Jul06 til now (at least > half a yr), this makes me eligible for a S$200 bonus coming July
9. i get to travel around Singapore. so i get to eat reallie nice food. shall rattle the place of audit and the food off memory:
- TUAS JOB - seafood reataurant along PIONEER road. their bamboo clams are qt special.
Fave food here would be the fried mango puff, which has a fried breaded exterior and
oozing mango interior
- KEPPEL BLDG JOB (ex) - Famous Lor Mee with looooong queue, second only to the lor mee
in North Bridge Road. Both boasts of a crunchy bite within the mouthfuls of noodles, the
secret ingredient being crispy fried fish
- TANGLIN JOB - Donuts from B1 of Tanglin Mall, selling at 3 for S$1.50. Comes in 2 types
of toppings, nuts or candy
- JLN PENMINPIN JOB - Thai restaurant set within this private estate, selling yummy thai
food at affordable prices (<>
clover cres/ave. They have verrrrrrrrrrrrrry yummilicious prawn noodle (best taken soup)
sold by an old couple at S$2 and THE BEST home made barley and ice milo one can ever
find!!!! :) never thot i could find a cuisine out of these verrrry simple drinks. they are thick
and made of REAL substance. go try. It was my daily booster for that 1 month +
- YISHUN JOB - nothing v worthy of getting mentioned in this food chart, but they do sell
cheap "recess time" food. Laksa/meesiam/mee rebus (and 2 other food which i do not
remember, each for a day). they cost only S$1 a bowl. I am gg to have them come March! ;)
- BUGIS JOB - situated near all the nice eateries, we tried a different one every day. MOST of
them have been on TV or papers in one way or another, so EVERYTHIN goes! :)

10. i don't see the same faces every 365 days, so no time to engage in politics (which happens in every co)
11. everybody gets promoted, so there's no politics anyway
12. i got to apply URGENT LEAVE last thursday and juz applied for today as well, because i dun feel like working

SEE? i managed 12 reasons! isnt tt enuff reasons to stay already! alright! i ve managed to convincemyself tonight! :)
this self-deceit kinda debate goes on everytime the "quarter-life crisis" hits ;) ie. everytime i have the urge to quit or someone leaves...

got assigned on a stat board job which req me to do a competency test. haven read the MANUAL (YES! there s a manual to read) tho wanted to do it over this cny break. bt who the hell reads during the long deserved break??? wonder wat will happen if i fail the test?? heeeee....dun think they ll even allow tt to happen. so i shant even think abt it... haha

1) QQ - china version o icq!!!!!
had sm relatives frm china over at our hse on e eve. e poor lil boy was so bored, grandpa asked me if he cud use our net 2 talk 2 his bro-i din noe tt i ve sucha cute lookin cousin btw... he has TWO dimples!!! ;) bt abit toooooo young la.. so he asked,"do u hav QQ?"
me,"?????-4 a moment, then it dawned on me tt i ve heard tis term frm a fren who has gt china frens b4!!"
me,"*proudly* OH! u mean icq huh??"
so i let him dl qq into my com.. :)

2) somebody gt attached to somebody, both of whom cannt b named, for security reasons, due 2 possible longterm grilling... ;)

work s great and in town.. and i m juz rotting over here as i ve done my wrk liao and awaiting the client to giv me the consol stuffs. thot i sailed over PW and the harshest winter was over!!! with audit of 6 entities and consol of about 10 subsidiaries. now this entity has 70 subsidiaries!!!!!!!! OMG *faints*

but kinda hav a half day off cos client cant giv us everything now... juz had macs breakfast with the team over at tanglin mall :)
and DIANA!!! remember those donuts that Yen they all always crave for? i FOUND it here!!! and i had them for 2 days liao :) :) pinky fell in LOVE with those donuts too! :)

anyhow, i ve juz complained tt i m FATTER. and my WHOLE audit team was like... U???!!! FAT!!!!?? then we are PIG liao. sighzz.... all the NICE ppl out there... cept for ONE...

caught a movie ADRIFT on fri night and thot the night was toooo young, so had an impromptu KTV and we were given a room for 30, with big screen and a stage!! felt like i was giving a concert!! hahaha. so the late night left me w a sat noon tt was spent in msia with "blood and chocolate". couldn wake up for the promised morning swim cum squash. i juz bot a new swimsuit anw, so need to utilise it... SOON... i promise...

sun was spent having lunch with AH MENG :) :)

so basically, i FINALLY had a nice weekend :)

and now, before the NEW consol starts, thot mayb i ll update this almost-dormant account ;)
