Because II

I had a S$20 Isetan voucher expiring today. The man told me to go check out their counter. And gifting needs no reason :) :) :) :)

And I just only realised tt they used sake fermentation technology to create this 'miracle' water. Simply put, you are just applying ferment on your face. It kinda stinks. But the BioT moisturiser works well to cover up the smell.

AND hey! This water is going to make me prett(IER)!

I am a happy girl today!

And my little boy when I returned. This is his naughty look. Take a closer look. And he just bit his bed and ran around the house!
The sister told her bf to be fierce and scold him. That elicited a GROWL response from the bf. *rofl*
And this is the good boy look he always wear when he goes out. Niu niu's (aka his girlfren)mummy told me she couldnt imagine him being a naughty boy! Big poseur!

Gender difference

There is a distinctly apparent difference between the 2 sexes, like how the Venus and Mars books come about.

I was distracted some time ago by a casual office banter.. A male colleague was talking about Maslow's theory of needs. And air, food, water, shelter, sleep and SEX were mentioned as the basic needs.

Why didnt i recall the last need from our academic literature? However, that coming from a man, came as no surprise at all. After all, men are always said to rule with their dick.

Like how the guys in class were taking a tad longer time in the changing room (cos they were discussing and comparing their endowments, we were told). How the question of the name of the bed in the master bedroom was asked (then the innocent girls just gave the cheap thrill answer tt they desired, "masterbed").

Yes. Man, and their dirty minds. Of cos the girls also had our share of size-able discussion. Who could resist talking about the D-cup girl??!! And no doubt we all had a good laugh after their silly question. But you see, the gender difference started as early as our teenage years!

In a Christie Chung's movie I watched a long time back, I could vividly remember her telling the husband who made her mad, "no sex for u tonight!!" And the man looked so upset after tt.. :) :) We cant fault him, cos he has been deprived of his basic need. Like how girls would become grumpy if we go without shopping or food. It is THAT basic.

Over at a dinner with N last week, he secretly admitted that the blading guys actually discussed about the blading girls figure. I happened to fall into the good category of their discussion ;p But my seemingly big boobs appear smaller nowadays as the tum tum grow outwards! *heh* Well, point is, girls dont discuss about the men's endowments!! (save for Jacob's body that is soooooooo omphf!! and got the girls fixated on those huge 8-pack abs)

It is also no wonder how Geylang still thrives in its flourishing trade. And how the se bei beis in the particular bus stop along Chinatown get conned into a money-driven relationship with those cheena woman.
In a world that men exist, the women will always survive. Because we have something to trade for those monies.
I prefer to work the way to his heart thru him tums. Here are some pictures of a domestic goddessful weekend!

Simple fare prepared for luncheon, after the man's game.Food is also the trick to the little man's heart :)

Eye your food longingly with those puppy dog eyes. mummy will meltz into puddles and feed u some food..

Stir fried baby kailan with garlic (heaps of garlic!)

Stir fried potatoes with pork strips.

The dad, the man and the sisters gave thumbs up for this meal :) Makes me wana work harder to become a better domestic goddess :)

Ooh, and the sister's bf was on TV last night for his great entrepreneural idea! Biz amongst the siblings seem a verrrry appealing idea :) beat that, sisterly loves :) like how they like me cooking :) N can attest to that :)

Brag later

Got that from the magazine I picked up from the table last evening (25 Nov).

"Do first, brag later"
because by bragging first, it gives one the feeling of accomplishment already! and one will tend to slack off thereafter, resulting in a failure.

so, shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Family Ties!

Visited the littliest one to our family over on Sunday. Coincidentally, all the brothers were there, so we had a huge dinner table to celeb Dad's bdae :)

Littliest one, at 7 day old, was sleeping quite a bit when we visited.

The adults took turns to smell her on the head and the cheeks. Babies are the best smelling thing on earth! That so reminds me how I love to smell Murphy too! (although N always tell me he stinks... ^_^)

We have officially added a new young member to each of our family.

Eldest Bro - Murphy (Shih Tzu, 1.5 yrs old)
Second Bro - Hazel (German Shepherd, 5 mths)
Youngest Bro - xxx (Baby girl, 10 days old)

Coming CNY gonna be merrier!

The 40km Challenge

I do have a love-hate relationship with my boyfriend.

Many a times, I would have lived life at my own comfortable pace, equilibrated at ease within my little bubble world. Had it not been for him. Him, who makes me cross my boundaries. Him, who makes me exceed my personal threshold. Him, who makes me select the 40km button below that 20km one. Him, who has the ability to affect my life in just a click-distant apart. Ok-LAH. The jersey was a much greater lure than the T-shirt. So probably that played a part too. STILL.

Now we are 114 days away! And I was never good riding in a crowd!!

I guess riding regime will kick start verrrry soon. Shaoyu, this NEW hobby will stay for another 114 days!! :) haha

Now... I think I d better go join the CBD run peeps tomorrow to kick some ass! Menses is sucha good excuse...But I do realise I need to get those fat arse off the couch to prep the body for the Challenge! and more importantly, to squeeze into my itsy bitsy whitey polka dot bikini this Christmas!!

Shopping Glee!

The countless number of times a woman shops is always justified when u see how a man shops :)

A little more on our Sunday shopping glee~! Something a little different from what I ve always wanted..

My dream little pink Honda Fit :) I was told u have to pay S$1k more for this special chio color :)

But we had to get something more practical, since N & I are already oldies in our *sobz* mid twenties.. Haz asked if I was gg to have 5 kids??!! HAHA! So we were actually looking at the 7-seaters below..and a little pros and cons which I remembered from our shopping trip

1. Honda stream.

Honda stream interior, seats fully down.
Seats 7. We will be able to transport our bikeys without the bike holders! Good for sports and family!

2. Toyota WISH

Also seats 7. A glimpse from the top. Goods leg space at the 3rd row.
We actually went for a test drive, fully seated cos the frens were there!! :)
Good pick up. Also can transport bikeys. But car rattles (cos of the particular engine type. I m actually an idiot when it comes to technical terms. So let's leave it like this. Rattling should sufficiently describe) According to some, this rattling kind of engine gives the car better power for long dist fast drives :)

3. Volkswagen!!!
This was actually our aim for Sunday's shopping glee! But twas a tad too ex for our pockets...erm.. i mean HIS pockets :) but whatever is N's, is MINE!!! :) :) :) I think he cannot stand me sometimes.. like how I liked to say "our car"... :p

A VW Touran. Also a 7 seater. 3rd row was toooo cramp with no leg space. U have to seat cross-legged. So at least we dont have to even consider this hugeass pain in the pockets :)

OF COURSE. everyone needs to have a dream car right??!!
I intro to u *TADAH* a VW GTI Golf!!!! Now it has become OUR dream car. I say, he DOES influence me. I wouldnt go for the guniang little pink Fit anymore. But N still doesnt share my dream house dream :( I say, we need to bridge our expectations gap!!
A fren has just sent me a Marriage Prep Course (MPC) organised by his church. He tried and tested and felt it was a good thing to share with us. It's good to receive such blessings from frens sometimes...Makes me feel loved. And blessed :) I think it will help to bring tt gap closer ;p
2 pieces of good news! And HEY HO MERRY OH!
1. Cuzzie told mommy our home might be ready next year *GASP*!!!!
2. Little baby girl to our LEE family has just been born last Sat!!! *hoots* cant wait to meet this littliest one!!! :)

Burfday Weekend

BIRTHDAY greetings from JAPAN!!! sent to me house. I was tasked with a secret for 5 freaking days!!!!

And I got a gift too :) how schweeet are they. Our bessie buddies :)

This year's celebration was a surprisey FULL day menu, FULLY planned. nothing divulged to the man. Cos the woman seldom plans. Nor initiates. Nor decides.

Lunch surprise - KOME jap restaurant!! N has been raving to me about how yummy and fresh the sashimi was! and how each pax can chalk up hundreds of bucks. o_O the buffet was a cheaper alternative for me :)

we were there early. So fooled around with the cameo and decided to present him the present from Miyashitas :)

N opening his present. A pair of tortoise cufflinks! Another to his diver collection! Partial of our feast, and the rest was history ;p

actually planned a 3-hour lunch from 12-3pm and booked our paranormal @ 445pm. but lunch was done within an hour. I had to pop my kademame (whatever the peas are called) ONE.BY.ONE for half an hour before calling it quits and leaving the restaurant. So we had a pocket of 2 ++ hours in between and the smartass birthday planner suggested doing the southern ridges walk. We were totally not dressed for it. So I was grumpy on the return walk back. *GROWLS* and we stinked each other to hell as we hugged it through the super scary paranormal screening. we thought it was a documentary from a real, home-made video by a couple's unearthly sightings. Only to know tt it was a cheap flick manufactured on a low budget. wth. But still, it was scary. I did think about it for a split 2 seconds when I hit the sacks that night.

Wanting soooo much to share the cutie and yummy boy band @ timbre fortcanning with N, I tried to book a table for 2. N says I am very predictable and he already guessed I was gg to bring him to Timbre. o_O But the place was fully booked by TUESDAY! :( so he was wrong to guess I was bringing him to Timbre fortcanning anyways :) we ended up at Timbre mobile instead. Band wasnt as cute. nor as entertaining. we left even before the clock struck mn. BOO!

Woke up to a "roof roof" behind me ears. A morning call mimic of the little one by the big one :) we headed to the neighbor next door for a speedo dido errands and a BAH KUT TEH brekkie. Saw mannny mannnny of his dream car on the roadie. Pulled a stopover for a cake and met snoopy!!! :) tried to replicate a 2 year old photo in the phone and failed miserably. we got fat. despite making THAT resolution not to make the same mistake that ALL COUPLES MAKE when we first started dating. HAHA!

So, after seeing so many godly signs on the road, we had to visit the dealers. Went for our FIRST car shopping trip together and were joined by several other frens :) I wasnt there for his 1st one cos I was bussssssssy slaving for the moolah in those days ^_^ but no. we aint ready to part with OUR 2 year old baby. So it ll stay for another year :)

And NO. I dont have any presents for the burfday boy. We kinda advocate tt giving shouldnt be restricted to special occassions. Do u want your other half to be only good and nice to u on ur burfday/valentines/xmas or anniversaries??

HAPPY XXth MY BOY :)

My LOVE

I cant remember what was the feeling of a late night dinner like, until last night.

BUT was still in time to grab a ball before the shops close their shutters.

Little one ran excitedly towards the HIH boy with the soccer boy earlier in the morning. His target: the ball on the ground.

So LOVING mummy me made a mental note to get him one last night :)

And the boy is LOVING it~!!!

Video clip up soon if I get home early tonight :)

Starry dinner tonight. *hoots*
