coincidence

it is funny how sports can bring two persons together

Just on my recent trip to Dayang for my advance, i bumped into a sec school fren of mine @ the jetty. It was a momentary silence as i stood bent in an awkward position to pick up my dive luggage from the ground, and he bent slightly to tap a hand on my shoulder. As I had just woke up from my 3-hour-car-ride nap and was in a daze, both of us stood there in the weirdest position and stared for the longeeeeeesssst time!

It happened for so long that i snapped into sudden realisation that the whole world was staring at us!

So i stood up and recognised the face of MarkQ!! HAHA! What a coincidence right??!!

And that is how blading brought N & I together too :)

And to further proof my all time long hypothesis that N has had monkey tricks up his sleeves, I have my MAY 2006 email proof that he tried to jio me to DIVING then!! I just happened to chance upon that email when I cleared the inbox that was going to burst earlier..

so this weekend i spent @ the sun sea sand again and I got mt advance certification alr! Huuuuray~!! Deep dives = more creatures to see!!

But the only fruitful this about this trip was that I got myself a certificate. Other than that, I did not see anything spectacular except for the four 1 - 1.5m long bumphead parrotfishes as well as the crabs, lobsters, half a metre long BRIGHT RED star fish!! That's about ALL OF IT!!! quite bad considering I did SIX dives over the 2 days!!

Lucky N and the leisure divers got to see and PLAY with a turtle. It was so playful tt N got scared at the thought of meeting a biting turtle and he tried to kick it away with his fins!!

Now rightfully certified, N & I have made plans for the coming Christmas already :) Luxury dive trip for 5 whopping days~! I heard the food is good :) :)

Back to serious reality, i dun think i have the stamina to complete this 5-day dive trip because i have seen how weak i am now frm the recent trip. Throughout all the dives, somebody had to help me with the tank regardless of whether i was leaving the boat or entering the boat, whether it was a fresh dive of the day (which i should naturally be more energized) or the last dive of the day. the weight of the tank just got me weak in the knees and i could not stand up properly without the extra pair of hands to help me :(

that's what the job has done to the health and I am starting to slack away and find my inner peace in other aspects of life. Although this sort of behaviour is not going to get me into good terms with the bosses.. but do i really bother?

Just yesterday and today, i decided not to go to the office as I had officially taken TOIL. Although fact is, my being away will jam up everything everyone else is doing. But do i give a damn? Who is going to return the healthy me? Yesterday I found out that someone in my office, 1 level lower than me, has JUST PASSED AWAY on Sunday Morning! *wtf* Such a young life and wasted!! The previous me would have gone back to office to complete the work that was outstanding despite the TOIL. But with the many surprises in and unpredictability of life, sometimes u realli should treasure everything else other than work!

I thank my god for giving me this life and although I have ruined it *sort of*, i hope to get it back someday. I want to find back the healthy shwu who could do her 10 km run, who could climb the stairs with much panting, who would be able to carry her own tank independently...

Shihui just texted me from office, a little worried about my absence from work these 2 days.. Its heart warming to know tt i have such good collics who care :) They were the very people who saw me growing vertically downwards, the same who told me i have lost tooo much weight for my own good, the same who told me to eat more and work less, and also the same who made my days when I was feeling down and out from my late nights *I heart them*
