Sipadan Updates I

DAY 1

Arrived at Tawau airport in the afternoon and were picked up by the the island people :)

Here's our "Sipadan" van and the map of where we r going!! if u look hard enuff, the bottom left pic shows the SIPADAN island and a diver :) that's MAINLY where we are going! :)

Due to some air pressure and nitrox level scientific theory, which I shant bore readers with, we had to give some 24 hour time between air and sea time. So we put up at a casual hotel on our 1st day. Here's the leg of the table - a dolphin!

Picked up some goodies to the island with us :) and headed to this place with the BEST MANGO SMOOTHIES! at RM4! MANGO wholesome, I tell ya! and we were amused by an item on the menu - french fried... o_O

And out of randomity, here's the amount of creams (there's more!) that goes into the daily moisturising and beauty regime *yawnzz* but there's no ugly woman, only lazy woman.... so wells...all the more I had to take care of the skin cos of the sun and salt...

DAY 2

D and I woke up earrrrrly earrrrly to visit the fishery port right behind our hotel. Think twas 630am or something... to see the fishermen unload their goodies of the night at the dock..

here's Mr Fisherman with his BIG CATCH OF THE DAY! I think this fish bought him n family a day or two of livelihood :) simple life :)

And of a boatman, still waiting for his catch...

AND THEN.....

we took a bumpy ferry boat ride to KAPALAI resort!! 5 STAR resort okay?!!!!!

TADAH!!!!

Here's D & I, at the resort...

we had some lao time to look around the whole place before our briefing... so here we go!

D actually took the snapshots of me getting ready while we walked to our photoshoot place ;p there's sucha photog in him sometimes... (and I shall talk about our hidden talents one day ;p) I was actually tying my oversized couply tshirt (that's what u get for insistin on getting the last piece of dive shirt that is not even ur size in order to have a couple couple one with him) into a knot..

KAPALAI is actually a pro dive-snorkel resort. They have these steps all around the whole resort leading into the waters. So u can JUST. jump in. anytime. whenever. u get the idea?? :)


Here's the loooong walkway to our room.... we got the furthest! cos couples are all placed in secluded parts of the resort... u know why?? EVIL THOUGHTS!! and scheming MAN! hahaha
