Coming to terms with my upsize, many pairs of pants this month!

 

In the slightly funkier one today (just got them last evening!) since its Mid Autumn and that calls for a celebration!

 

It goes better with pumps but this pair of Gabby wedge is fast becoming my favourite shoe to date of parenting. It has all aspects of what I find in a good shoe and it allows me to feel comfortable with a 10kg add on PLUS run in them!

 

We are gonna carry lanterns tonight!

 

What's with all the lanterns in the market these days?! They don't even play cute kiddie songs any more! D's minion (we weren't the ones who bought it) sings an irritating tune of techno song that got us very tickled and annoyed! So N went about disconnecting the audio connection. And yesterday, I overheard a lantern that sings 我从山中来, 带着兰花草。。。And a mama was paying for that lantern! o_O"

We brought him out to the BBQ on the eve as Santaphy!

HOHOHO! Being the man that he is, he OF COURSE refused to step out of the house looking like that. There he is, looking glum in the 1st picture... Mummy had to drag him out of the house!

Fastracked 4 hours later, his energy was flat. So we brought him home before heading back to countdown to Christmas with MAHJONG!

Wardrobe Issue

Back to Shum's 101010 - The beautiful setup and my wardrobe issue

The beloved boy always become the victim of my random musings. I was trying verrrry hard to wrap the kinky La Senza gift box with tiffany blue crepe paper the night before...It was sooo tough! And it was already very late at night... So the crepes ended up on Murphy's head instead. See his DUH face.

The theme of the wedding was only made known to us the week before. I thought I was going to run into some wardrobe issue because it's so hard to get tiffany blue dresses!!!

But you know what?!

All that girly shopping which often ended up with many unnecessary stuffs, for all you may know, might come handy one day! 

Both men and women see practicality in what they buy. Only the perception is different. To a man, multiple usage equates practicality. If they dont get to use it often, they dont buy. A woman, on the other hand, deems practicality as usage for at least one event, or if it matches that bag/shoe we already have. Hence, we always end up buying many things in assortment of cuts and colours.    

So there! I have one such dress which was bought for a clubbing night out about 8 years ago! I only wore it twice! :p And it is the closest I could think of for the tiffany blue wedding... I dug it out... 

But I was still worried I wouldnt fit the theme... cos it's not exactly...

BUT...

LO AND BEHOLD!!!

 I matched the decorations PERFECTLY!!!!

I have moved on.....

To BIGGER things!!!

One of thou favorite m)phosis tops - Lycra kinda material that clings on to all inches of your body fat, hence was only bought and worn during those skinny days...

Until someone with BIGGER assets wore the same piece to office *gulpz*

I swear it looked inferior on me and I threw it back deeeeep into the wardrope! :p

But it got to see light recently... :):):):)

6++kgss of fats, some has to go to the correct place right???!!!

Ok la...I actually found out there's something even better than Triumph!

But I do have some grumble rumbles to make. I am seeing a downward spiral in the apparels industry. No place to shop. The brick and mortars are all compromising on their quality!! Was totally disgusted with the fabrics on Sat! Blogshops push down prices, consumers start shopping online, the B&M had to lower cost to match up with the low prices.. *sigh*

There's fewer places to get good clothes these days..

Luckily my fave boutique from MY has hit SG and I could still get some decent dresses!! :):)

The epitome of beauty and brains. Fab fabric, cut and stitches. Gives a boost to the bum and bust! Hides the unsightly flabs! I didnt know sewing was such an art :D

Always thought people were just paying for the label but no!!! I was proven wrong! It's the fantastic artncraft work of the whole piece of clothe!

I was going home to the little boy when an offer of some FREE shopping was granted :) Valid only for a day! So I chionged to town to grab some goodies on Tues :)

The antique carpets and furnitures are his major loves. And this antique mirror was a great portrait background for the man who was fooling around with his new lenses.
