Indoor shoot

 We didnt really fancy an indoor shoot and wanted to just go all out for an outdoor one with the the nature, the birds and the trees. We were even contemplating one with the fishes but the technical resources werent that readily available - the best we found was a snorkel shoot but N didnt quite like the photo finishing from said studio. We wanted to wedding photos to be as real-life as possible without looking too poseur-ish. I even wanted a trishaw shot because that was a daily ride in part of my childhood!

Posing in front of some made-up background of chandeliers/colored canvases on some kind of victorian sofa/stools while staring dreamily at something placed at a 45 degree angle to the camera just didnt appeal to me. I think I can still live with made up backgrounds and the fancy chairs of sorts.. It actually is the 45 degree imaginery object in the studio that gets to me. O_o" Even if the photo is supposed to depict the level of love the couple has - Oh we are soooo in love, we can stare dreamily in the same direction because we are blissfully drowned in L.O.V.E. *sigh* Seriously there has to be a better way to portray LOVE! What's there to see that is 45 degree to your right inside a studio huh? Not like there could be a bird or a rainbow or a dolphin right? 

So we all along just wanted to go for the candid options of an outdoor shoot. But N really wanted to don on an oriental suit, and me, a fairytale suit. We actually just wanted to jump into one each for a quick shot before setting off to the beach for our outdoor shoot. But the studio offered us another Saturday for an indoor shoot :) yay! to another day of looking fabulous in my long eye lashes. huh huh. So we were in the studio 1 week before the shoot to choose the gowns! That's how efficient  ;) 

Since we already had the desired styles in mind, it didnt take long to sieve out what I want - after stepping in and out of about 10 gowns in the chingchong and dreamy styles, I picked out 2 favorites!

Some of the photos I secretly snapped in my 30 sec alone time in the dressing room for each dress before I call out for help with the zippers ;p

Scheduling 2 photoshoots within a week from each other + not born with the natural talent of posing = Super tired and I think we did succumb to the photographer's calling to look 45 degrees to our right without putting up a fight. OMG! But that's like the simplest and most idiot proof pose! whahaha! So I guess I better eat my words right now in case I end up selecting some of those very superficial photos for our wedding album! Heh.

Hopefully the photos come out beautiful! Now, if only there are "behind the scenes" photos as well to show off our hard work!

Catching Up

I have been too caught up with some personal entertainment till the wee hours this week.. By the time I hit the sacks, Murphy will just be zonked out on his mattress like that.

 Makes me want to cuddle him in my arms but cant bear to wake him up from slumber.

He is too cute!

I always find the relationship he has with niuniu abit ai mei. I wonder what their doggy brain is thinking up there. Tell me. Dogs know how to flirt?! We were on N's CANDID camera!

If someone at home was near the door, she would 'tell' the person to get the keys and open the door already! I have seen that body language of hers too often! :D Shihtzus seldom bark, you got to learn to read them. :)

Hidden Treasures

Walking the dog has a therapeutic effect on me. It not only calms the soul, but allows me to see pretty little things that we often overlook.

Here's a Snail Garden near my house. There are many many snails there. Here are 2 I found this morning in a rather 'adult' position. :D The white tube near the feeler is like the penis - you will only see it when erected :) There was once I found one pair joined together with that :)

Food, friends and insects II

**Through thee eyes you see my world**

It's been raining almost every other day of the week and snails come out to play! :)

These tiny beauties are often squished and squashed by the fast paced society. Trampled upon by the morning rush hour. Their insignificant existence we often whiz pass without even throwing a glance. :(:(

We really ought to slow down our pace, take a huge breath of morning air, and see the beauty of the world we reside in...

And on one random weekend morning, N went on a trip to the Dairy Farm and saw beauty through his macro lens... (I was having sleepy spells from menses and thus did not follow)

It was weekend again and we took the opportunity to make merry with friends and food!

Sat noon, I met up with the girls over the most wonderful grilled chicken at Chef Daniel's Kitchen! The dessert of the day was some mousse cake, LYCHEE flavoured mousse!!!!!! Never take any pics tho :( Will be back in no time! :):)

Put on the cycling tights once again and hit the bike twice this week! :D

MAMBO JUMBO!!! O asked if I was actually going to eat JUMBO seafood in my MAMBO pants o_O

Cereal prawn lovers can rejoice over fried rice! Cereal Fried Rice! :D

A heapful of cereals on top of the rice! But it's more wth it if u get the chicken fried rice or pork chop fried rice! Cos with less amt of $, u can still get a serving of meat!! haha!

Fried Chicken Ramen

Ramen was good. Tasty and healthy... But chicken too oily! Maybe cos the body is now resisting all fatty intakes! ;p

Chilli (soft shell) Crab!

TOTAL waste of calories. The gravy sucks. Might as well go eat a real chilli crab at ANY zichar stall :( It will definitely still be better!

Sambal Season Beans

Season beans are our favorite! But this is also a complete waste of calories.

The season beans are still BEST from Crystal Jade Dining In (or isit Imperial?) from Vivocity..

We took dinner to another Teochew place down the Upp Srgn stretch at 830pm (after hopping home to feed the little one FIRST)

Orrnee!

Mari would have loved this new haunt we just found! She used to travel all the way to Hougang Mall just to get it from the dessert shop! This is so near their old place!! And S$8 serves up to 4 servings of orrnee!!!

I always wonder how some girls can resist food just to fit into that tinnnny dress!

Man and dog had some bonding hunting to do over the weekend..

They went in search of.........squirrels!!! Spot it? :p Bishan park is a treasure cove for these furry creatures :) But no insects due to the midday sun :(

No chance for the man to hone his skills. He now has a liking for anything macro. It is like that in the sea. Is like that on land as well o_O

Mind you. Macro means everything, including cockroaches and houseflies ok??!! He actually SEES beauty in them!! >.<

Anyway, we took the Saturday leisurely. Had a slow brunch...

And Murphy was a happy dog! we unleashed him to mingle around with the doggies there but he decided to pee on people's bench *_* So I scooped him up after a while. Always 'throw my face' in public...he still looks happy on the chair anyway.

Whipped out the trusty Iphone to geek around. I just downloaded some photography apps onto my Iphone and they are doing my photos wonders!!

I swear one of these days I am going to get my hands on 2 coins and kiap them out one by one...

And into the night.....My manja baby boy was sooooo worn out, he fell asleep on my lap... *loveshugscuddleskisses* I melted instantly and forgot that I had to bathe :)

Aweeee.... weekend...can you come soooooooner????!!
