CNY means.....returning everything tt u qian4 to the ppl u qian-ed4 the things frm!!! cos cannot qian guo nian!!
so i had qt abeet to do before cny (aside from cleaning up my room n stuffs)
met up with mlis, cyn, dia on friday for supper -- prata n teh tarik =) had a sorethroat but still......cldn resist the temptation of food....so tts y I AM STILL HAVING A SORETHROAT!!!!!!!! got back my 2 umbrellas n bangles frm mlis =)
met up with YS on CNYE to deliver her the present that i owed since her bdae last november.....finally
and then we went to TT some $$ to some ppl =) hahha
BUT.....i still qian ws her shirt n shorts tt i borrowed frm stayover a few weeks ago....uh oh.....I think i forever owe her things already la....ever since i borrowed a pair of court shoes frm her during JC days.....which i stil haven return......urm-ohhh.....hopefully she s already forgotten all abt it =)

da royal diary abt staying alive
my senior told me recently, that whether or not one stays long in audit, depends on luck. i totally agree with what she said. it depends on the portfolio and the kind of aic (auditor in charge) and the type of clients that one gets. most importantly, I guess, is the team tt one gets.
you can get a looooousy/incompetent client whose accounts and documents are in a mess, and hence you cannot find what u want, and as a result you gotto do OT....
or you can get a sucky client who yells n screams at you (even before you walk to her desk: DUN COME AH! I NOT FREE!! or WHY YOU ASK THIS???)
or even worse, you get an aic who is CONSTANTLY pms-ing. either that, or she s going through menopause @ a young age of <30.>
the above three (permutate-d and combinate-d) will give sufficient reason/s for one to feel like quitting.
HOWEVER, we muz never forget that audit is abt "TEAMWORK "--> the magic word that we always use during interviews --> by always claiming that we can work well in a team...yadda yadda...
i guess now this sentence takes on a different meaning frm what it was supposed to mean during our interviews. TEAMWORK now means that you:
bitch about the stupidity/incompetence of the client,
bitch about the bitchY accountant
AND
bitch about the menopaus-ing AIC
as a TEAM
=) =) =)
and OF COURSE, we muz never forget that even if the worse comes to the worst, (ie you dun hav a team to bitch with), you still have a bunch of friends who will surely stick by you in the office!!
hope our dear chambermaid n da queen n me survive this peak n come out of it alive...wonder hws the other princess and the rest... ooOO{}OOoo
hope we all get to celebrate our one-year anniversary coming august~~!!
juz saw val on thursday =) (looked abit tired, cos juz came back frm china)
n i heard chris flying china tmr too!!
hope we ll meet up soon...reallie miss those pantry-rotting dayssss and loooong lunchess in the office... haizz

I am SPEAKING again~!
FINALLLY blogging....again!!!!
misssed sooooooo many "episodes" in all my dear frens' lives!! cos was either toooo busy or the stupid comp was down....*grrrrr*
think might be coming down with the flu or sthg after stayg in office till 1130pm on monday....flu flu go away~~~
I cant afford to fall sick during peak!!! simply bcos theres NO TIME to heal!!!
it d be new deadline week after week after week.....till the WHOLE peak ends in april!!
thought tt i d be free tom n fri after pulling put frm my job today... bt they SQUEEZED watever lil time i have into ANOTHER job....bth
anyways...I WILL survive~!! (at least try to...) I know all my honeybees are hard @ wrk too...wherever they are.....watever shit they may be in.......I wish the BEST for them too!
client was reallie nice to us these 2 days.....had cakes & lil treats & my (& wendy's) fave DRINKS - Lychee & Lemon Barley!!!! was sooooo filled with happiness today!! hahaha!!!! to get to choose btw our fave drinks!! =) *smilez*
the previous mths had beeen filled with loadsa fun..bt i din blog them dwn.. =) guess i ll make up by posting some backdated pics =)....of my BKK TRIP in OCTOBER!!!! LAST YEAR!!! =)
morre pics to come....but not tonight! wanna sleep sooon! (my darling-est AIC let me report @ 930-10am tom...whahaha...HAPPINESS again)
wanted to blog abt the BBQ on the 7th Jan....but it ll be extra work...cos wat's to be said is alr said by MLIS.....what i wanna say is.....I was reaalllly glad abt the turnout tt nite! EVERYONE whom we asked was there.. =) anyway, for morrre information and heartwarming pics, pls refer to MELISSA's blog in my link below =)
