Globalisation brings the world closer, and I cant agree more! Atsu was in town over the weekend and so we brought him along for our multiple errandsssss and to one of our fave bah kut teh stalls across the causeway for some super noms!

Sesame oil chicken served bubbling hot! The sauce makes plain white rice super yummy!

Mid November updates

Lack of a better title for this somewhat random post I drafted while meddling around with my new toys while N was out at work for a bit and Mur was snoozing right beside me...

We put Roomba to work early on Sat morning ;p

tt's him getting some sun in on the balcony :) he sort of fell right down and couldn't get back in, so our balcony's spick and span now that he had run several times over and over and over until N decided to rescue him back into the house...

So that was actually quite random and so I couldn't think of a better title...

I know Murphy loves me a lot because......

after many rounds of these expressionless, "get away from me" moments that I subject him to almost daily.... 

And after making him look sad

because I ignored his excited pitter-pattering feet alongside my strides while biting on to the pumpkin that he wanted to play fetch with, and the occasional "accidental" brushes against my calves (which occur too many times for me to believe that they were accidental)...

And so he continued to look like that until I finally 'noticed' him...

But he still welcomes me home every day with that special bark sound (that only my youngest sister and I are privileged to get) and that waggerly tail, gives me a once over lick in every inch of my exposed skin and snuggles sooooo close as if he wants to be a part of my body! A dog's love is so unconditional.. <3 

I have had him for 3 year now, and had him with N. :p But N has never experienced this much cuteness that only people close to him get to see. Now that we are embarking on to a new journey, and to a whole new level of parenthood together, I believe N will be able to witness all these and be mesmerised pretty soon :)

Question of the day: So what do you do if newlyweds just want to have dogkids? Get dogs to jump on the bed?! :p

5 Nov - The Amazing Race

To sorta make up for being grounded in SG over the Hari Raya weekend whilst the rest headed up Melaka for a makan trip, we participated in an amazing race last sat ;p Wedding makes you grounded. I wonder if marriage does the same ;p

We were given puzzles to solve and multi-portions of brekkiesss to stomach during the race!

The puzzles were easy! But having to stomach 2 chicken rice, 2 huge currypuffs, 1 nasi lemak and 2 meesiam within the morning was............actually MANAGEABLE! *burps*

But we were supposed to be on a wedding diet! *guilty* Some pictorial evidence of my favorites and new makan place on my bookmarks ;)

Wedding Montage - Childhood

The bridal shop agreed to help us do up our 'growing up' montage. N & I get to choose 20 photos altogether. So I flipped through the collection of photo albums the other day...My, how precious are these memories!!!

We were supposed to attend each other's wedding but sadly, it is a chinese taboo to attend any white or red events within 100 days of our own wedding :( So sad I couldnt get to witness the start of a new life journey of a childhood friend...But I ll definitely make it for the shower! :)
