Christmas

The joy of giving, loving and sharing :)

This year, the Christmas mood set in since the beginning of December. I bet every household who owns a christmas tree probably reused the tree from 2006.. :) Last Christmas, we got a surprise present from a couple. Baby got a singing santa, and I, a singing snowman. This Christmas, we remembered this lovely pair of singing duo and dug them out from our cupboards...AND...they still SING!! :)

SURPRISE~!! It is amazing how some things are only used ONCE a year! hahaha! and they STILL function a year later :) :) :)

So there they are... our singing darlingss... on the dashboard of a Christmas car :) and tts ninja turtle kiaped between them.. hohoho

Then, whilst shopping for my xmas gift for a gift xchange in the office last wednesday, I chanced upon this snowman sock (It's weird to use singular on this word..) and decided to buy it to make an even more Christmas-sy car :)

Then last thursday, we popped by Bishan to hunt for the Xmas hats for the headrest :) the search was a fruitful one.. but the pics are not in my phone.. *grunts*

With all the xmas mood set in... I suddenly had this craving for turkey and hence suggested to have an xmas gathering at 5yi's place...but with a sudden change of plans..the venue has been changed to my place...so the whole day today was practically spent on cleaning, decor, clearing rubbish, thinking of the food etc etc

here's what happened in the day :) twined the lights around the xmas tree and added the butterfly on top :)

Decided to bake something for the collics :) bot some blueberry whilst supermarketing this afternoon for tues gathering... first time using blueberry and the results were qt cute! the berries BURST! :)

Bought some santa claus from Phoon Huat earlier on and took them out for a shot. They are meant for the cake on tues :) heezz.. my santa BAND..hohoho

Lastly... to make everything presentable... little trees planted on top of the muffins :)

on a side note...while tanning at Sentosa... EVERYONE whom we saw on the beach owns a DOG!!!!!!! I also wan a doggie too :(

*all i want for xmas is a doggie*and mayb a PURPLE/RED handphone*and mayb a COACH bag*and a DVD player*and and...:p *

Baby brot me HP shopping yday to replace my lousy pok hp which gives me lousy reception 80% of the time and of which i have complained 70% of the time whenever i was on the phone with him. but yet again, when i was brot HP shopping, i was abit reluctant to part with the pok phone..and cldn settle on any other phones cos not all M1 shops carry the color tt i wan... so i was given a good tongue lashing.. o_O

oh wells...I have feelings with my phone you know??

THE DAY

MY blissful day :)


had a long lunchie with one of my last mates in DT last wednesday. To count exactly, my 2nd last. Now I m left with my last mate because the 2nd last had left.


As this 2nd last mate of mine has a fairly small appetite and doesn realli go to lunch, we settled for a sandwich cafe for our meal. To giv u an idea of what is a fairly small appetite, imagine a bowl of tang yuen for lunch. Anw, we settled for this 'high class' sandwich place where sandwiches cost S$3.70 and drinks cost S$5.00. But they did the drinks pretty well. See my STARRY hot choco? ;P

So, that was one of the few lunches I had with this mate.. we bonded cos we were both in the same state of mind recently :)


This mate left last fri.. the day of our DND...
I still remember on very 1st DND, we had excess to fill up >1 table of 10 and had to split up a little. On the 2nd DND, some had left and we had enough to fill up 1 table. Last week's DND, we only managed to fill up 5 of the seats and half of this 5 were resignees :)

It was a day that many of us had looked forward to.. a day that saw the first bride in our clique of jiemeiss :)

we planned and chat and excite over our emailss for weeks. we had a hen's party at MOS, met up to do a beautiful scrap book and discussed the morning game plan, and bought our new dresses for the morning and night...and there it came! the sweet and blissful day :)

the girls woke up at 6 AM in the morning...and were stayed awake till late that night.. heres some sweet pics of that blissful day...
