Weekend Catch up

Met up with the girls for a cuppa hot chocolate and some cakes @ Bakerzin after dinner at White Dog.

When the drinks first came, D n I went "OooooOooH..." and "Whaaaaaaa" cos of the thickness and creaminess of the hot chocolate and the overdose of marshmellows...

When we began to taste the drink, D n I went "Ewwwwwww...." and "Eeeeeeee" cos it was sooooo think and bitter, it din taste the least like hot chocolate at all... so the best part of the drink was realli only the marshmellows..

its nice to meet the girls up for some chats sometimes :) we ve been missing out on everybody's lives..

So everything ended n i zzz @ 2am on sat night and woke up to 530am on a sun morning for the GE run! :)

weather was great.

we had promised to make appearance no matter rain or shine.

so i woke up to the drizzle n put on the jog gear...heart thumping alr! *haha*

the run was good. all the flowery smelling ladies whizzing pass each other...unlike the aroma we d experience in other runs..^_^

the day felt accomplished with the race :)

but i ve been nua-ing at home till now -_-

cant wait for the results!! :)

i think we did well girls! :)

Peel Fresh Ice Blend

One random night. Something inspired him to wana drink orange blend. So we went to buy some peel fresh home n had a blend :) Thereafter, there were ribena blends made to quench the thirst. Theb lender has served its purpose well :)

Visit to one of N's waver fren's shop along the upp srgn road to catch some cutie pies :) *i like* Doesn the brown-grey one resemble a sheep? the owner affectionately calls it xiao mian yang :) see how the white one is sleeping - paw on the window glass :) :) arent they C-U-T-E??!!
thereafter it was off to MOS for a girls' night out XOXO

Cookery

I think it was last sat (6 Oct) that i decided to make some toufu pi. Inspired by the sweetie's crave for toufu pi, a yummy try of the Geylang's toufu pi one fine night and the toufu pi skin that was sitting around in my kitchen :) I decided to let someone eat my toufu! :)
so there goes...I was in the kitchen marinating, chopping, wrapping....and i forgot to take pics of the final products!!

Joggo-day (9 Oct)

We decided to hit the road. This time round, Pierce Reservoir. After being brot there to enjoy the scenic surrounding once, I caught sight peaple prawn fishing among the rocks by the seabed. Inspired, i ve been bugging baby to bring me there since to catch some prawns ;p but he was inspired to bring me there for something ELSE. JOGGING!!! I tell you... the slopes there are a killer! We went up and down, up and down, up and down, up and down....after neverending upslopes and downslopes, catching sight of 2 monkeys having sex (this part is digression. bt i found it funny :). No details for you tho...cos i was panting along the slope already and i was afraid that I might not outrun the monkey if they decided to giv chase to the intruding audience!), i only hit a joggometer of 3.6km????

The GE run is nex Sun! *omg*faints*

On a really impromptu decision to hit the causeway. *Jess, u shd have been there! look at wat u missed!*
Food variety was fabulous and everything that everybody else were eating looked great! The assortment of ice blends we saw on other patrons' tables was wow-aful and almost blew my breath away~!!
We decided not to be greedy and settled for ONE main course, a few snacks and, of cos, a drink! The food in top down sequence:
Baked rice, melted cheese topping, toufu pi, star prince (xing xing wang zi) which is made of mash potato wrapped in fried bread, chocolate lava.
HIGHLY recommend: xing xing wang zi :) :) they even have a nice decor along the side of the plate :)
LOWLY recommend: Chocolate lava. Altho it looks nice, but it is made of cheap choco which is not up to our taste -_-
